Maawa Academy — A Shelter of Light
ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ
“Read, in the name of your Lord who created.”
We teach the Holy Qur’an, Islamic Studies, and the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers — with precise Tajweed, patient teachers, and one-to-one attention.
The Curriculum Mandate
Three pillars, one shelter of learning.
The Live Sanctuary
One teacher. One student. Every letter heard.
Lessons run in a distraction-free Focus Mode: your teacher, the verse, and a shared board where Tajweed rules are marked as you recite. Tap a highlighted word to see how a rule appears live.
- Sessions from 30 minutes, at your timezone
- Recorded correction notes after every class
- Monthly progress report for parents

Lengthen the alif for two counts — steady, unhurried.
About Maawa
Maawa means shelter — a place knowledge returns to.
Maawa Academy exists to make faith-based education reachable for anyone, anywhere. Our mission is high-quality teaching that gives learners proper Qur’an recitation, a firm foundation in Islamic knowledge, and the ability to understand and use Arabic effectively.
Certified teachers
Every instructor holds an Ijazah or a degree in Islamic sciences, and is trained to teach non-Arabic speakers.
Built for beginners
No prior Arabic needed. We start from the letters and never move faster than your understanding.
Families welcome
Children, adults, and parents learning together — with tracks tuned to each age.

Voices of our students
“I had read the Qur’an for years without knowing I was mispronouncing whole letters. Six months in, my recitation finally sounds like the Book I love.”
“My son looks forward to his lesson. His teacher is patient, punctual, and sends notes after every single class.”
“The Qur’anic Arabic track changed how I pray. I now understand the words leaving my mouth.”
